Completing Jonathan Demme's trilogy of documentaries about Neil Young, this attractive film takes the Canadian singer back to his small home town (a school is named after his father, the celebrated journalist Scott Young) and on to Massey Hall, Toronto, for a solo concert of mostly familiar songs. He dresses in a black T-shirt, light cotton jacket and jeans, is simply lit, and there are only fleeting glimpses of the audience.
