The James Bond blockbuster Skyfall won a very tight weekend box office, narrowly beating a group of holdovers that keep ruling the top half of the chart. Skyfall earned $10.8 million for the top spot, beating the animated Rise of the Guardians, which took in $10.4 million for second place. Meanwhile, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 remained in the top three with $8.9 million.
